Glyceryl Stearate Citrate
INCI:
Glyceryl Stearate Citrate
Function in our formulas:
Emulsifier
Where does it come from?
Glyceryl Stearate Citrate is derived from Corn and Canola and is palm free.
What is it?
Glyceryl Stearate Citrate is used as a secondary emulsifier. Think of it as an emulsifier that assists the primary emulsifier with keeping your cream - a cream! After all, creams (emulsions) are just a mixture of oil and water.
How do we use it?
We use Glyceryl Stearate Citrate in all of our formulas alongside Emulsifying Wax to create stable emulsions for our creams and lotions.
